Bir Ali or Zulhulaifah continues to be a focal point for intending Haj and Umrah pilgrims before entering the Holy City of Makkah. Located about 11 kilometres from Madinah, the area is the miqat location for pilgrims who come from Madinah with the intention prior to putting on the ihram before continuing their journey to Makkah Al-Mukarramah. Bir Ali is also equipped with various facilities for the comfort of pilgrims who stop by before starting their pilgrimage in the Holy Land.
