The Public Works Department, Ministry of Development informed the public that the Department has noticed a decrease in water supply in Tanjong Bunut Kanan tank following an electricity supply disruption at Tanjong Bunut Kanan Pump Station since 18th February 2026.
The Department of Electrical Services is currently carrying out maintenance work to restore the electricity supply. The areas likely to experience water supply disruptions are Kampung Tanjong Bunut; Kampung Tanjong Bunut Kanan; Kampung Selayun; Shopping Centre next to Simpang 1280; Simpang 1244; Part of Kampung Jangsak Simpang 842 and its surrounding.
The department assured that efforts are being made to restore the water supply to normal levels as soon as possible after the electricity supply is fully restored. During this period, the public are advised to use water wisely and prioritise basic needs. For water tanker services, contact Talian Darussalam 123.
