The One Village One Product, 1K1P initiative not only aims to improve the economy of local residents, but also plays a major role in uniting the residents through a spirit of cooperation.
In Kampung Kasat, the implementation of the initiative since 2020 is clear evidence of how economic efforts can be a platform for strengthening community relations.
Kuih sapit; Ardam; Oya and Cacah are among the main products of 1K1P of Kampung Kasat. The production of these products involves the residents in either preparing the ingredients; preparing the kuih; packaging, or its marketing. Such involvement indirectly forms a teamwork system that is interdependent and supports each other.
The involvement of the residents in producing 1K1P products proves that the success of a community does not depend on individuals, but on the cooperation of all residents in achieving a shared vision. This cooperation further strengthens the spirit of belonging that is important in community life.
The 1K1P initiative is not only a local product development programme, but also a symbol of village unity, a space to build community identity, and a path towards shaping a progressive and united community.
