A local woman was brought before the Kuala Belait Magistrate's Court for an offence under Section 146 1(D), Excise Order, 2006.
31 year old, Majidah Nadirah binti Haji Ismail was fined 40 thousand Brunei Dollars or 14 months imprisonment in default. The accused was found guilty of possessing 316 units of Vape Pod of various brands and 5 bottles of Vape Juice of various brands, without valid authorisation, during an inspection carried out by the customs officer at Sungai Tujoh Control Post, Kuala Belait on 31st of July 2024. All the contraband namely vape pod and vape juice were handed over to the government for disposal.
