In the sepak takraw event for group stage. Brunei Darussalam's team regu lost at the third game. The competition took place on 25th November morning at Rimba Dua Secondary School.
The national team regu lost to Malaysia's team regu with straight set of 15-8, 15-7.
In the second regu, the national team once again failed to stop the Malaysian team from advancing when they lost in straight sets 15-6, 15-13.
In the final game, the country's third regu lost with straight sets 15-4, 15-7. With the result, the country's regu failed to advance to the semi-finals.
