Universiti Teknologi Brunei, UTB, hosted the first-ever Turkish Language Competition, which was participated by universities' students. His Excellency Professor Dr Hamit Ersoy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkiye in the country, in his speech expressed his amazement and happiness with the involvement of students who could speak Turkiye so well.
The competition was attended by students representing UTB, Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD; Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA; and Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB; who are enrolled in Turkish language courses. The competition aimed to test language knowledge and skills as well as create friendly competition in learning foreign languages. First place was won by UBD, followed by UNISSA and KUPU SB came in third.
