In the morning, Thailand won bronze after defeating Brunei Darussalam, 29-24. Present to watch the match was Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, Minister of Education.
In the afternoon, Malaysia emerged as champion after defeating Singapore, 46-36. Singapore took the silver.
Medals were presented by Dayang Hajah Anis Faudzulani binti Haji Dzulkiflee, Acting Director of Planning, Development and Research, Ministry of Education.
