The 2-day Innovation and Entrepreneurship Festival, InnovFest continues to be an important platform in fostering a culture of research, innovation and entrepreneurship at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD). It also allows students and researchers to showcase their work, build strategic collaborations and explore commercialization opportunities. The closing ceremony of the festival took place on 29th April afternoon.
Present was Doctor Annie Dayani binti Haji Ahad Abdullah, Director, Office of the Assistant Vice-Chancellor for Industry Engagement and Enterprise Development, UBD. This year's festival showcased various projects covering technology, sustainability and digital solutions, including ventures developed through the UBD Incubation and Entrepreneurship Programme. 11 projects were announced as finalists for the "Startup Induction Grant."
