An individual and a company were fined by the Licensing and Enforcement Division, Brunei Muara District Office for offences under the Miscellaneous Offences Act, Chapter 30.
Mohammad Nur Fakhrudin Arrazi bin Tahier was fined BND100. While Syarikat Sai Surya Sendirian Berhad was fined BND1,000. The action was taken after receiving a complaint about garbage dumping in the Lambak Kanan Community Hall car park area.
While, a company was found to have dumped construction waste in an open area during a routine patrol in the Kampung Masin area. The individual and the company were ordered to settle the compound fine within 7 days.
Meanwhile, the Enforcement Unit, Tutong District Office imposed a compound of BND1,000 to Syarikat Dahliea Enterprise for violating the Miscellaneous Offences Act 2021.
The company was found to have dumped garbage in the project area of Kampung Penabai, Tutong. The company involved was required to pay the compound within seven days.
