The National Flag Handover Ceremony for the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF Contingent participating in the Malaysian Battalion, MALBATT 850-13 under the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon peacekeeping mission was held on 30th October morning. The flag handover to the RBAF Contingent comprising 21 RBAF personnel took place at the Air Movement Centre, Rimba Air Force Base.
Present was Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the RBAF; and His Excellency Datuk Mohd Aini bin Atan, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam. Also held, the presentation of badges to the contingent. The contingent departed for Malaysia aboard the Royal Brunei Air Force C295MW aircraft before continuing their journey to Lebanon from Kuala Lumpur starting 5th of November 2025.
