Thirty-six travel agencies have been authorised to operate Umrah package services using Saudi Arabian tourist visas for 2026, the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) said.
The ministry, through the Haj Affairs Department, advised members of the public intending to perform Umrah to verify the credentials of travel agencies before selecting an Umrah package provider.
The measure is aimed at preventing the public from dealing with agencies that have not been authorised to operate Umrah package services.
MoRA said the full list of authorised agencies, including those permitted to operate Haj and Umrah packages according to package and visa categories, is available for public reference on their website.
The Haj Affairs Department also reminded travel agencies without the necessary authorisation that they are strictly prohibited from operating Umrah package services, including advertising or making offers for such services.
Members of the public can verify the latest list of authorised agencies through the official MoRA website, Instagram account @kheu.brunei, or by contacting the Haj Affairs Department.
