Brunei Darussalam will host the 39th ASEAN Amateur Senior Golf Championship 2025. The tournament will become a valuable opportunity for Brunei Darussalam to showcase its culture, hospitality and attractive natural scenery to tourists. The Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism outlined the matter at the Opening Ceremony of the tournament at a hotel in Gadong, 22nd September night. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin said that the initiative aligns closely with the Ministry's ongoing efforts to position the tourism sector as a key pillar of national economic growth.
More than 200 golfers from ASEAN countries participated in the championship. It was organised by the Brunei Darussalam Association of Senior Golfers' alongside the Confederation of ASEAN Senior Golfers' Association.
