The Socialist Republic of Viet Nam looked forward to working closely with Brunei Darussalam within ASEAN and various frameworks to maintain peace, stability, and cooperation in the region. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to the country stated this at a Reception commemorating the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam. It was held last night at a hotel in Gadong.
His Excellency Tran Anh Vu also highlighted that both countries have potential to enhance cooperation to take advantage of new growth engines, including digital economy, innovation and science and technology development. Representing the Government of His Majesty at the reception was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
