Brunei Darussalam's participation as a member state of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, OIC at the Islamic Conference of Health Ministers, ICHM reflected the nation's commitment and support in together contributing towards efforts to improve health status and the people's well-being in Islamic countries, as well as regional and global levels. The 8th ICHM that was held recently in Amman, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan carried the discussion theme 'Health is Our Shared Responsibility.' It's main objective was to set a new strategic direction for health cooperation among OIC member states, building on previous efforts. The conference served as a key platform to discuss and determine future strategies as well as resolution to improve the health outcomes and collaboration initiatives between OIC member states.
