Berjaya Sdn Bhd, the authorised dealer for GWM vehicles in Brunei, officially launched the all-new GWM ORA 05 at the opening of the GWM Carnival at The Mall, Gadong.
Starting from BND24,900, the petrol-powered GWM ORA 05 combines distinctive retro-modern styling, everyday practicality, and accessible ownership, giving Bruneian motorists a fresh choice in the compact crossover segment.
Designed for everyday driving in Brunei, the ORA 05 offers the convenience of familiar petrol refuelling for customers who value ORA’s distinctive design and modern technology without relying on public charging infrastructure.
Professional local sales and aftersales support further strengthen confidence throughout the ownership journey.
Berjaya Sdn Bhd also previewed the upcoming GWM ORA 05 HEV, which is expected to arrive in Brunei in the final quarter of 2026.
GWM-provided specifications indicate a total driving range of more than 1,500 kilometres under specified test conditions. The ORA 05 HEV has also been recognised with a Guinness World Records title for the lowest fuel consumption driving to all direct-administered municipalities in China by a hybrid-electric-powered production SUV. According to GWM-provided information, the record attempt covered a 3,004-kilometre real-world route and achieved 3.74 litres per 100 kilometres.
Following over 100 confirmed customer bookings before the launch, Berjaya Sdn Bhd held the GWM ORA 05 mass delivery on July 24, 2026, at Amber Hills. The event celebrated the confidence of early owners ahead of the model’s official public launch and marked another important milestone in the Brunei market journey of the
GWM ORA 05.
The public is invited to experience the GWM ORA 05 and the wider GWM range at the GWM Carnival, which runs from July 29 to August 2, 2026, from 10am to 10pm at The Mall, Gadong.
Visitors can explore the GWM ORA 05, HAVAL Jolion FL, HAVAL H6 FL HEV, TANK 300, TANK 500 HEV, and WEY 80. GWM sales consultants will be available throughout the roadshow to provide product information and assist customers with vehicle selection, financing, and ownership enquiries.
Selected GWM models will be available with special roadshow offers and promotional packages until July 31, 2026, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
