Setia Motors Sdn Bhd as the main distributor of Hyundai cars in the country yesterday officially launched the new Hyundai Stargazer FL X in Brunei, introducing a bolder and more adventurous evolution of one of the brand’s most popular models in the local market.
Launched at Hyundai Beribi HQ, the new Stargazer FL X builds on the success of the previous Stargazer which was introduced to Brunei in 2023 and has since seen approximately 2,000 units take to the roads across the country. The launch was officiated by senior management of Setia Motors and officials from local financial institutions. The latest facelift takes the Stargazer in a new direction, with the ‘X’ representing the highest variant in the Stargazer range. More than simply a refreshed MPV, the Stargazer FL X adopts a crossover-inspired design that combines the practicality and spaciousness of an MPV with the more rugged and confident appearance of an SUV.
This gives the Stargazer FL X a distinctive character designed for drivers who want a practical family vehicle that is equally suited to everyday city driving and weekend adventures.
Powering the Stargazer FL X is a 1.5-litre MPI engine paired with an 8-speed IVT (Intelligent Variable Transmission), providing smooth and practical performance for daily driving.
The Stargazer FL X particularly stands out is in its extensive range of technology and safety features that comes equipped with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, Lane Assist and Forward Collision Assist, providing drivers with additional confidence behind the wheel.
The interior also receives a premium treatment, featuring leather seats, a 10.25-inch integrated display, a Bose sound system and mood lighting, creating a more comfortable and enjoyable environment for both drivers and passengers.
These features are complemented by a range of additional convenience, safety and connectivity technologies, making the Stargazer FL X one of the most comprehensively equipped models in its segment.
According to Setia Motors, the launch of the Stargazer FL X comes at an important time as the Stargazer has already established a strong presence in the Brunei market.
For its initial launch in Brunei, the Hyundai Stargazer FL X will be offered in a single variant, with prices starting from BND32,800.
With its combination of MPV practicality, SUV-inspired styling, advanced safety technology and premium interior features, the new Stargazer FL X is set to strengthen Hyundai’s presence in the family vehicle segment and offer Bruneian motorists a fresh alternative for their everyday driving needs.
