Artificial Intelligence or AI has unconsciously help the society in many ways. But at the same time, it also poses a risk and challenge that must be addressed. This includes fake calls or videos such as Deepfake that which many people fall victim via several media platforms. This was underlined by a Member of the Legislative Council when officiating the AI Workshop for Senior Citizens. Organised by the We Learn AI Group, it was held on 1st September morning at the Lambak Kanan Dua Community Hall in Berakas.
Yang Berhormat Dayang Chong Chin Yee also expressed hope that participants can be more confident in trying out AI safely. The workshop aimed to raise awareness on AI, and encourage its positive use among the senior citizens. It was one of the Community Outreach Programme under the 36th Executive Development Programme for Middle Management Officers.
