The 14th ASEAN Schools Games or ASG14 lowered its curtains with a Closing Ceremony in Berakas, 28th November night. Organised by the Ministry of Education through the Department of Co-Curriculum Education, the Games gathered over 900 student athletes from 10 ASEAN Member states competing in 8 sports events.
The ceremony included a Closing Statement from Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd. Salleh, Minister of Education as Chairperson of the ASG14 Executive Committee. This was followed by the handover of the ASEAN Schools Sports Council flag to Indonesia as the host of the 15th ASG. The ceremony was also enlivened with cultural performances by students from government and private schools.
