Brunei Darussalam is currently still in the Southwest Monsoon, which typically persists until end of September. Active weather conditions are forecasted to continue until this Sunday.
Occasional heavy and thundery showers are expected, affecting several areas of the country, with wind speed of up to 45 kilometres per hour in or near heavy showers. Meanwhile over Brunei waters, generally sea condition is at slight state, with wave height of point 4 metre to point 8 metre. The Brunei Darussalam Meteorological Department advised the public to take precautionary actions with respect to the forecasted active weather condition.
