Brunei Darussalam is currently still experiencing the Southwest Monsoon, which typically persists until end of September. Active weather conditions are forecasted to continue until Thursday, 18th of September 2025.
Occasional heavy and thundery showers are expected to affect many areas of the country, with wind gusts of up to 50 kilometres per hour in or near heavy showers. Meanwhile, over Brunei waters, sea conditions are generally slight, with wave heights ranging from 0.4 to 1 metre. Members of the public are advised to take precautionary actions with respect to the forecasted active weather condition. Public, road users and fishermen are advised to always be up to date with the latest weather forecast, advisory and warning, and to take necessary actions to ensure safety.
