Air quality across all four districts improved to good levels Monday morning, with rain reported in parts of the country since early morning.
The Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation (JASTRe) recorded Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) readings of 30 in Brunei-Muara, 42 in Belait, 36 in Temburong and 29 in Tutong as of 9am.
Rain had been falling in some parts of all four districts since early morning, providing some relief amid the ongoing hazy conditions.
According to JASTRe, a PSI reading below 50 indicates good air quality, while readings between 51 and 100 are classified as moderate, 101 and 200 as unhealthy, 201 and 300 as very unhealthy, and above 300 as hazardous.
