Air quality moderate across Brunei

Air quality remained moderate across all four districts in Brunei Darussalam at 9am Saturday, with PSI readings ranging from 69 to 77.

According to the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation (JASTRe), Tutong recorded the highest Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) at 77, followed by Brunei-Muara and Temburong at 76 each, while Belait recorded 69.

A PSI reading of 51 to 100 indicates moderate air quality, while readings of 101 to 200 are classified as unhealthy.

JASTRe, under the Ministry of Development, continues to monitor air quality nationwide and will issue PSI updates five times daily during the hazy period, at 7am, 9am, 11am, 2pm and 4pm.
