Al-Miqat Travel and Tours Sdn Bhd has been authorised to operate haj and umrah package services using umrah visas for a three-year period, from 1448 Hijrah to 1450 Hijrah, the Ministry of Religious Affairs announced.
With this latest approval, 11 travel agencies are now authorised to operate haj and umrah packages using umrah visas, while 36 travel agencies have been approved to offer umrah packages using Saudi Arabia tourist visas for 2026. The public intending to perform haj or umrah are advised to engage directly with the authorised travel agencies.
The Department of Haj Affairs reminded unauthorised travel agencies that they are prohibited from operating umrah package services using either umrah visas or Saudi Arabia tourist visas, including advertising or making offers for such packages. – Lyna Mohamad
