Arabic school programme promotes digital learning for PSR preparation

Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Arabic School organised the Ilal Majdi Wal ‘Ula (Towards Excellence and Glory) Programme to strengthen students’ academic preparation through innovative digital learning methods.

Held under the theme Digital Revision: Strengthening Knowledge Towards Success at the school’s main hall, the programme supports efforts to prepare students for the Primary School Assessment (PSR) examination and internal school assessments using interactive digital learning approaches.

The initiative aligns with the Department of Islamic Studies’ (JPI) ongoing efforts to support the aspirations of Wawasan Brunei 2035 by nurturing knowledgeable, highly skilled and competitive students.

Present as the guest of honour was Head of the Human Resource Development and Scholarship Division at the Department of Islamic Studies under the Ministry of Religious Affairs Hajah Rusidah binti Haji Talip.

The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and a prayer, followed by welcoming remarks from the school’s principal, Pengiran Hasinol Zamri bin Pengiran Haji Piut.

A highlight of the programme was the Muraja’ah Quest: Digital Quiz Challenge, an interactive revision competition aimed at reinforcing students’ understanding of key subjects while encouraging collaborative and engaging learning.

The programme concluded with a prize presentation ceremony officiated by the guest of honour.

The Ilal Majdi Wal ‘Ula programme is an initiative by the Arabic Schools Division of the Department of Islamic Studies and is organised on a rotational basis at Arabic schools nationwide. It serves as a platform to enhance students’ academic readiness through collaborative, interactive and innovative learning while boosting their motivation and confidence ahead of public and school examinations.
