The Prime Minister and Minister for Finance of the Republic of Singapore, and delegation arrived in the country this morning. Upon arrival, His Excellency Lawrence Wong was welcomed by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs as Minister in attendence; Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs; Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Haji Mohammed Saifullah bin Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris, Acting Commissioner of Police, Royal Brunei Police Force.
Upon arrival, His Excellency was honoured with a Static Guard of Honour mounted by personnel of the RBAF. This year is Brunei Darussalam's turn to host the Young Leaders' Programme, YLP between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Singapore. The annual programme has been implemented since 2013.
