A local man received the Asian Cybersecurity Resilience Awards 2025, during the ASEAN-Japan Cybersecurity Community Alliance Annual General Meeting in Tokyo, Japan, recently.
The award was in recognition of leadership, integrity and collaboration in the development of cyber resilience. According to Muhammad Azizul Amir bin Pehin Orang Kaya Pendikar Alam Dato Paduka Seri Haji Hasrin, Acting IT Manager and Cyber Security lead at Brunei Gas Carriers Sdn Bhd, the award was in recognition of Brunei Darussalam's collective efforts in advancing cybersecurity. The ceremony was also attended by Awang Shamsul Bahri bin Haji Kamis, Interim Commissioner of Cyber Security Brunei.
