The Brunei Darussalam Central Bank, BDCB has updated the BDCB Alert List. It was issued for the public to exercise caution and to avoid being misled in believing that the persons listed are licensed, authorised or regulated by the BDCB.
The updated list included Finance Freedom Success; GIC Investment; PS by SH or 'sweetendeavours.bn'; and XM Trader Brunei Official. The public is reminded to only deal with financial institutions licensed by the BDCB, and to avoid any unlicensed companies or individuals carrying out or offering financial services, especially those with characteristics of Get-Rich-Quick or Pyramid Schemes.
Members of the public are also reminded that they will not be protected under BDCB's regulatory framework if they deal with companies or individuals which are unlicensed or unregulated. For more information, visit BDCB's website at 'bdcb.gov.bn'.
