The 2026 school session which officially began, saw traffic flow on main roads returning to the normal daily routine. As early as 6:30 in the morning, the previously quiet roads began to be filled with vehicles of parents and guardians sending students to start the new school term.
A closer look in Bandar Seri Begawan showed that traffic was moving slowly at several school zones. The increase in the number of vehicles requires road users to be vigilant to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow. In the meantime, pedestrian bridges continue to be an important route for pedestrians to cross the road in a much safer manner. Overall, the first day of school went smoothly with the cooperation of all parties in complying with traffic instructions. Road users are advised to continue to plan their journeys in advance to avoid any delays during the first week of school
