The fair, held from yesterday until today at Bridex Hall 1, Jerudong, will see Baiduri Bank showcasing a range of card promotions, rewards and travel-related privileges at Booths 47–52. Baiduri’s participation aims to enhance visitors’ travel planning experience while offering opportunities to maximise the value of their travel spending through exclusive card offers, rewards campaigns and interactive activities with special offers for visitors applying for new cards among the highlights during the fair.

Successful applicants for the Royal Brunei Visa Infinite Credit Card will receive a four-year annual fee waiver and a Samsonite Spinner 25-inch luggage upon spending a minimum of BND1,000 within 60 days of card activation.

Meanwhile, new applicants for the Royal Brunei Visa Platinum Credit Card will receive a four-year annual fee waiver and a Samsonite Garde Backpack upon spending a minimum of BND800 within 60 days of card activation.

Existing Baiduri cardholders can also benefit from a range of rewards throughout the travel fair.

Royal Brunei Visa Cardholders will earn triple miles when purchasing air tickets or tour packages from participating travel agents, while all Baiduri cardholders can take part in the Spin the Wheel promotion upon meeting the minimum spending requirements.

Baiduri cardholders will also receive triple chances in the Sabre Lucky Draw when making payments at the fair, with Baiduri Bank sponsoring prizes for the promotion.

In addition, cardholders can enjoy a five per cent cash rebate on purchases made at participating food and beverage vendors, subject to the applicable campaign terms and conditions.

Adding to the visitor experience is the QR Quest Challenge, where participants can collect QR stamps through a digital passport by answering a series of questions and stand a chance to win consolation prizes or earn additional entries into the lucky draw for the grand prize, including a Samsonite luggage and a mystery Vee Blind Box.

Baiduri Bank Head of Retail Banking Lim Kian Chiong said the travel fair provides an opportunity for people to begin planning their holidays while making the most of available travel deals and rewards.

“For many people, a travel fair is where the planning starts. Whether it’s a family holiday, a long-awaited getaway, or a spontaneous trip, there’s always a lot of excitement around finding the right deal and putting plans together,” he said.

He added that Baiduri Bank’s participation was aimed at helping customers derive greater value from their travel-related spending through additional miles, exclusive rewards and activities held throughout the fair.

“What we’re doing is helping customers get a little more value from those decisions. Beyond the travel packages themselves, we’re offering opportunities to earn more miles, enjoy exclusive rewards, and participate in activities throughout the fair,” he said.
