The Ministry of Finance and Economy, in collaboration with the Belait District Office, held a Belait District tour programme to promote the planning of the 12th National Development Plan or RKN 12. The event was held at the Kuala Belait Conference Hall, 20th November morning.
Present was Awang Mohd Faiq bin Haji Rani, Acting Belait District Officer. The programme dissemination emphasises the active involvement of penghulu mukim, Village heads and the private sector as drivers of economic growth as well as the participation of local entrepreneurs and developers in making the development projects a success throughout the country. RKN 12 in Belait District will focus on improving basic infrastructure including industrial areas, educational and health facilities as well as implementing digitalization and green technology initiatives that support new economic growth.
