Baiduri Bank Group will be hosting its Annual Blood Donation Drive in partnership with the Blood Donation Centre of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital. The event will be open to the public and will take place on October 21, 2026 at the Baiduri Community Space, Baiduri Bank Headquarters, from 9am to 4pm.
This year’s theme, ‘A Positive Investment’, underscores how a simple act of giving can create a lasting impact on the lives of others.
Just as investments contribute towards a better future, every blood donation serves as a valuable contribution towards supporting patients in need and maintaining the nation’s blood supply. A single blood donation has the potential to benefit up to three patients.
Since 2009, the Annual Blood Donation Drive has been a longstanding part of Baiduri Bank Group’s community outreach efforts. The initiative supports the continued need for blood donations to meet the demands of medical emergencies, surgeries and ongoing treatments, while raising awareness of the importance of regular blood donation.
This year’s blood donation drive is organised and led by apprentices from Baiduri Bank’s Graduate Advancement Programme (GAP). As part of their development journey, the initiative provides apprentices with the opportunity to strengthen their leadership, project management, teamwork and event management skills.
The event will also bring together a selection of local vendors. Also featured are exclusive stickers created by local artists, specially designed for this year’s blood donation drive. The public is encouraged to participate and register through the BloodKad app. Through every donation, individuals can make a positive investment in the health and well-being of the community, helping to save lives and support those in need.
