The publication of the bilingual book 'Negara Ditanai Dengan Sedekah/ The Country is Upheld With Charity' was supported by the determination to explain the role of charity including its importance in the administration of a government and country. The publication of the book, written by the State Mufti, further strengthens the ongoing efforts in expanding the dissemination of Islamic knowledge and enriching the country's scientific treasures in line with the aspirations of the Zikir Nation.
Speaking on the blessings of the continuous practice of charity by the monarchs, Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Doctor Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned said, such act allows the country to remain peaceful and prosperous with citizens able to enjoy free education and medical service, apart from being exempted income tax.
