Bridging classrooms

The Brunei Malay Teachers Association (PGGMB) Tunas Jaya School (STJ), Lambak, recently hosted a delegation from Chua Chu Kang School, Singapore, comprising 25 individuals, including five teachers and 20 students, led by their Vice Principal, Low Boon Hwee.

The visitors were warmly welcomed by the PGGMB’s president, Haji Mustapabin Haji Masri, who was accompanied by the school’s Headmistress, Noraidah binti Abdullah; Deputy Secretary-General (External Affairs) of PGGMB Haji Yahya bin Haji Mirassan, along with the school teachers and students.

The visiting delegation was briefed on various aspects of the school’s operations, including its administration and management structure, academic curriculum, and overall student performance achievements, as presented by the school’s administrative team.

Meanwhile, the visiting students also took part in classroom learning sessions, joining their local peers in the classes that had been arranged for them.

The visiting teachers were also given a tour of the school’s facilities and had the opportunity to observe extracurricular activities in progress.
