The Brunei ICT Awards, BICTA aims to stimulate innovation and creativity in ICT among individuals, students and local enterprises. The BICTA 2025 Ceremony and presentation of prizes to the winners and Merit recipients as well as the Smart Nation Award winners. The ceremony organised by the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications in collaboration with the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam, AITI and InfoCom Federation Brunei, IFB took place at the Arts Centre, Jerudong International School.
The presentation was officiated by Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications. The ceremony included a screening of the video titled "BICTA 2025 Journey" and presentation of the Judges' Report. Category winners also have the opportunity to represent the country to the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance, APICTA Awards 2025 which will be held in December this year in Chinese Taipei.
