Among the highlight of the conference was the participation of Amelia Lim, who joined a panel discussion on ‘Talent, Trust and Transformation’.

The panel discussed on how artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping early-career roles, emphasising that judgement and empathy remain critical in the business. The panel also highlighted the importance for insurers and takaful operators to rethink talent development in the fast-evolving industry landscape.

The conference also covered topics on protection gap, regional collaboration and market opportunities and resilience, reflecting the breadth of challenges and opportunities facing insurers across Asia. The three-day event concluded with a closing ceremony and banquet, where the new Executive Board Member for the 32nd EAIC was announced.

The next EAIC will be held in Bangkok, Thailand in 2028.
