Members of the Brunei Students’ Society Melbourne (BSSMelb) took part in the Melbourne Marathon Festival on October 10, competing in the SriLankan Airlines 10km and Dairy Farmers 5km categories.
All participants crossed the finish line, representing Brunei on the streets of Melbourne.
“After over 20 weeks of training, completing the Dairy Farmers 5KM at the Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival 2026 was an incredibly proud and rewarding moment,” said Danish Rozaimee.
“Crossing the finish line at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground with my hands raised in triumph, I felt an overwhelming sense of accomplishment as the medal was not just a reward, but it also symbolised months of commitment and hard work,” he added.
