The Competition Commission of Brunei Darussalam, CCBD recently conducted a workshop related to synergy. It took place at the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
The workshop focused on the competition principles that can support transparent, fair and efficient public procurement systems, including by addressing risks such as bid-rigging and collusion, while promoting best value for public funds and a level playing field for suppliers. The workshop is also part of CCBD's ongoing efforts to strengthen understanding and cooperation between Government agencies on competition-related issues, taking into account that effective enforcement of competition laws and a robust procurement framework requires a whole-of-government approach.
