Brunei Cabinet ministers attended a dinner hosted by Singapore Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong and his wife Ho Ching on Wednesday evening at Assaraa, Jalan Menteri Besar.
Among those present were Coordinating Minister for National Security, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Halbi Haji Mohd Yussof; Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies and Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Abdul Manaf Haji Metussin; Coordinating Minister for Social Policies and Manpower and Minister of Home Affairs Dato Seri Setia Haji Ahmaddin Haji Abdul Rahman; Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office (Energy, Upstream and Downstream) Dato Seri Setia Haji Mohammad Azmi Haji Mohd Hanifah; Minister of Finance II Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Amin Liew Abdullah; and Minister of Foreign Affairs II Dato Seri Setia Haji Erywan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof.
The event began with a group photograph before guests proceeded to dinner.
Also attending were Singapore Minister of State for Social and Family Development and Home Affairs Goh Pei Ming and Singapore High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Yip Wei Kiat.
Lee Hsien Loong and his delegation are in Brunei to attend celebrations marking the 80th birthday of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
