The Bruneian community, especially the young generation is always united in expressing support and solidarity for the struggle of the Palestinian people. The National Mosque Youth Executive Committee in collaboration with Youth Bodies and Associations, organised the Humanitarian Fund Charity Programme for Palestinians "Peduli Ummah: Brunei 4 Gaza". The programme, among other things, aimed to raise funds for the Humanitarian Fund for Palestinians as well as serve as a platform to instil awareness, foster empathy and drive community participation in charity work. Supported by the Youth Division, Mosque Affairs Department, the programme was launched at a shopping centre in Kampung Rimba, 5th October morning.
The launch was officiated by Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. The programme included the prize presentation for the Best Peduli Ummah Video and the top 10 Peduli Ummah runners as well as certificates appreciation presentation to sponsors. It was also enlivened with various activities including charity sales, knowledge sharing sessions and children's activities "Brunei Kidz 4 Gaza 2.0".
