The Bangar Police Station, Royal Brunei Police Force seized 759 cartons of cigarettes and several bottles of electronic cigarette or vape liquid during a surveillance operation in the Bangar Town area, Temburong District.
The Police attempted and failed to stop a vehicle heading towards Kampung Labu. The vehicle was later found on the roadside in RPN Kampung Mentiri area after being chased. The suspect, a 36-year-old local man, is currently in police custody and the contraband were handed over to the Royal Customs and Excise Department for further investigation.
