The Tropical Rainforest Exploration Camp 2025 is hoped to raise awareness on the importance of protecting and preserving the biodiversity of tropical forests in the country. The closing ceremony for the camp was held at Kampung Sungai Mau Recreational Park in Belait District, 12th August morning.
On hand to present the certificates was Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Mohd Salleh bin Haji Othman, Member of the Legislative Council. The 3-day camp involved 24 male and female youth in Belait District. Also in attendance was Yang Berhormat Awang Mohamad bin Abdullah @ Lim Swee Ann, Member of the Legislative Council. It was organised by the Youth and Sports Department, Belait District branch in collaboration with the Kampung Sungai Mau Village Consultative Council, Mukim Bukit Sawat, Belait District.
