The Enforcement Unit of the Tutong District Office issued a compound fine of BND500 after discovering that the company had piled various types of rubbish at a project site and public area in Kampung Panchor Dulit, Tutong District.
The fine was issued under Section 12(1)(a) of the Minor Offences Act (Chapter 30), and the company was given seven days to settle the compound. Failure to pay the fine within the stipulated period may result in the company being brought before the court.
