His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al- Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, in a titah is pleased to inform that a syarak-compliant micro funding scheme has been established, specifically for youth entrepreneurs that is hoped to stimulate the growth and development of local youth businesses.
His Majesty in the titah also expresses concern on the Exploitation of Youth by criminal syndicates offering lucrative rewards. Hence, His Majesty stresses that efforts to eradicate such syndicates, should be strengthened through comprehensive approaches.
His Majesty made the titah in conjunction with the 20th National Youth Day celebration, held at the International Convention Centre in Berakas, 16th August morning.
The Monarch began the titah by expressing gratitude to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala, that by His grace, they can together attend the 20th National Youth Day Assembly. In the titah, His Majesty says that today's generation of youth has great leadership spirit and potential.
