His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah expresses hope that Islamic values and the nation's heritage will continue to be the core of Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD's direction. In the titah, the Monarch says that indeed, UBD's strength is not only in its name and ideas, but more importantly, its spirit and contributions to the country must be lasting. If that exists and continues to stand out, hence that is a sign of a UBD of quality.
His Majesty made the titah at the 37th UBD Convocation Ceremony. His Majesty began the titah by expressing gratitude to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala that by His grace, they are able to together attend the 37th UBD Convocation Ceremony. The Monarch in the titah sincerely congratulates the graduates for completing their studies in their respective fields.
