From January until July this year, 184 new converts have been recorded nationwide. From the figure, Tutong District recorded 43 new converts. A Dusun man recited his Islamic Oath in a Conversion Ceremony held at the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Tutong Town, 22nd August 2025.
36-year-old, Awang Shaidin bin Yating, is now known as Awang Shaidin bin Yating. Present was Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Dr. Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md. Salleh, Minister of Education.
