The ongoing efforts of the Islamic Da'wah Centre to empower and disseminate Islamic da'wah in the country continue to show a positive impact when a Filipino woman chose Islam as her new faith. The conversion ceremony took place at the Islamic Da'wah Centre, Kampung Pulaie, 4th February afternoon.
Cleofe Timtim Serondo is now known as Yasmin binti Abdullah. Among those present was Datin Hajah Nahriah binti Haji Awang Asbi, wife of the Minister of Religious Affairs. From early January to 3rd of February 2026, 39 people have embraced Islam in the country. In Brunei Muara District alone, 14 people have embraced Islam during the same period.
