Since early January to 31st of August, 173 people have embraced Islam in the country. 84 people are from Brunei Muara District. The number continues to increase after an Iban woman chose Islam as her new believes. The conversion ceremony took place in Kampung Tanjung Nangka.
Valenvina Rina anak Robin, age 19, is now known Nor Shahrina binti Abdullah Robin. The conversion ceremony was conducted by officers from Da'wah Development Division, Islamic Da'wah Centre.
