Since early January to 5th of September this year, the statistics of new converts in Temburong District is 16 people. The number continues to increase after another Murut man chose Islam as his new believes. The conversion ceremony took place at Utama Mohammad Salleh Mosque in Bangar Town, Temburong, 5th September afternoon.
Awang Dzulhadzrin bin Kamis, age 30, is now known as Awang Umar bin Mohammad Kamis. The ceremony highlighted with Dikir Marhaban and souvenirs presentation. In attendance was Awang Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar, Acting Temburong District Officer.
