The Tadabbur Al-Quran Programme with converts organised by the Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) through its Converts Development Division is an initiative that aims to enhance converts’ understanding of the main messages and deeper meanings contained in Surah Al-Fatihah.
The session yesterday carrying the topic ‘Tadabbur Al-Quran Programme with Converts: Surah Al-Fatihah – 7 Ayat, Sejuta Makna’ was open to converts from across the country.
PDI Religious Officer Muhammad Nasyith bin Superi facilitated the session held at the PDI Conference Hall. The programme also seeks to encourage participants to appreciate the values of Tawhid found in the surah as a foundation for safeguarding their faith, while strengthening their belief in the oneness and power of Allah the Almighty. The programme is part of efforts to diversify and strengthen dakwah strategies through structured guidance and gradual Al-Quran learning for converts in Brunei Darussalam.
Through these efforts, participants are expected to further strengthen their faith, deepen their understanding and practice of worship, and develop greater confidence and reliance upon Allah the Almighty.
The programme also emphasises the importance of learning Al-Quran under the guidance of qualified teachers, ensuring that the knowledge and understanding gained are based on authentic and authoritative sources.
Beyond improving Al-Quran-reading skills, the initiative places emphasis on understanding the content, messages, and lessons contained within Al-Quran, with the hope of nurturing a stronger understanding, appreciation, and love for Al-Quran among converts.
