The National Counselling Conference, NICHE 2025, ended on 13th November 2025, with the sharing of conference resolutions which, among other things, urged prioritising a counselling approach in the workplace and upholding a spiritual perspective and Islamic values as a work guide.
The resolution also emphasized the need for organisations to integrate the principles of counselling-empathy, active listening, psychological safety, and effective communication as a work culture, not just crisis intervention. The 3-day conference focused on integrating counselling practices in the work environment to enhance emotional well-being, strengthen professional relationships, and enhance organisational performance.
